Decision on bail of SpeakAsia COO and others kept safe till 18 Aug
Today after three days of Govt. holidays it was being thought that the COO of SpeakAsia and other officials of the company will get released after putting up a bail plea but it did not happen. Every SpeakAsian was hoping for a good news today but were left dissappointed after learning that the Mumbai metropolitan Magistrate has kept the decision on bail plea of SAOL officers safe till 18 Aug.
It is also being learnt that the police can take statement of COO of SpeakAsia Tarak Bajpai in jail only. Police can take the written statement of Tarak Bajpai on 17th or 18th of Aug. Whereas an association has been constituted by the SpeakAsia panelists to look towards the panelists interest in this case and the association has decided to file a PIL in the Bombay high court for the release of money by SAOL to the panelists. The PIL will include RBI , Ministry of Company Affairs to give answers. SpeakAsia has been saying that the RBI is not giving them a hearing to understand their business model and has issued guidelines to banks to stop banking operations relating to the company which has stopped the payments that panelists should have received as their income.
Final verdict on this case may be given on 18th by the court i.e., at the next hearing after going through the statements and reports submitted by the police. The news related to SAOL was also seen on Zee Business as below:
