Big Update by Facebook | Introducing Timeline
Facebook has been in modification phase for a time now with introducing Ticker, prioritizing updates in the news feed and other minute changes that make big difference in the way you use Facebook. But something more bigger and better is waiting for you that will change the way you use Facebook. Mark Zuckerberg introduced a mega feature in the F8 developers conference named Facebook Timeline.
The new feature will completely change the way people use to see and access your profile. At the top of your new profile will be a space for a picture that has been named 'Cover' and this cover will be the first thing people will see when they visit your profile. There is two column notebook like structure which displays status updates, photos, links, video posts, and a lot more at one place.
The design of the Timeline is excellent which keeps all the data in one place yet simple to view and access at the same time. You can check all your activity from recent to past at a single place by clicking the 'View Activity' button on your profile page. You can also select a month from the right side which will take you to that months updates providing you easy reach to past updates.
For now the Timeline feature is available only to developers around the world but if you want to be one of the firsts to get the taste of the new feature than you can have it by completing some steps. We will be explaining these steps in a new post. However, we can expect this feature to be released very soon for all.
Facebook is fast picking up the pace and with these mega updates is bound to keep its lead in the social networking war started by Twitter and Google+.
