|Samsung's latest entry in its Galaxy range of tablets|
Samsung has unveiled Galaxy tab 7.0 plus which is the refreshed version of its Galaxy tab tablet. Galaxy tab 7.0 plus is slimmer with much better and impressive specifications, the new tablet will be powered by a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor and runs the Android 3.2 Honeycomb with TouchWiz user interface.
The new Galaxy tab tablet is slimmer than the previous Galaxy tablet at mere 9.96mm and weighs 345 grams only. Beneath this slim body lies a Exynos chipset with dual-core mobile processor paired with 1GB RAM and upto 32 GB internal memory. The Tablet runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb with TouchWiz interface on top of it.
Galaxy tab 7.0 plus is capable of playing full 1080p HD videos and supports DivX/XviD formats. The tablet has a 3 megapixel camera at the back which is capable of recording 720p HD videos and a two megapixel camera a the front. The phone has got telephony with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support and tri-band HSPA support giving you speeds of upto 21 Mbps.
The tablet will be initially realeased in Indonesia and Austria followed by a global launch. There is no information regarding the price as of now.
