Airtel makes BBM service affordable at Rs.129/Month

Here's a good news for all BlackBerry users (including me!) that their favorite BlackBerry Messenger service is now very much affordable on Airtel network. Airtel has launched a special plan for all BBM users which will enable them to access the service for Rs. 129 per month and that's not all , you will also get 300 free SMS for a month along with the BBM service. Airtel Prepaid users will be disappointed because this plan is only available for Airtel Postpaid users. Airtel Postpaid users can instantly subscribe to the new plan by visiting nearest Airtel center or they can call 121.

BBM is the popular instant messaging service only for BlackBerry users

    BlackBerry Messenger service has been very costly and that's being one of the reasons for people to keep away from BlackBerry's. Now with Airtel launching a low cost BBM plan , it is expected that other mobile operators will also launch affordable BBM plans for their users. BlackBerry Messenger is an instant messaging service which is offered by RIM to its BlackBerry users. BlackBerry Messenger is built in every BlackBerry smartphone and has been very popular. It enables a user to send and receive real time messages without the need to pay for each message and provides a seamless instant messaging experience.

The new BlackBerry Messenger has a feature through which various applications which can be connected to it, like foursquare application can automatically update your BBM status if allowed to connect to your BBM app. You can even play Cricket with your BBM buddies through BBM connected games. Airtel may launch some new BlackBerry data plans for  its Prepaid users too in near future.
